158 people applied for asylum in in Luxembourg in September, 25 fewer than in August.

These are the official numbers as presented by the Directorate of Immigration. So far, 1,536 requests have been made this year. Last year saw a total of 2,206 applications.
As before, most of these hail from Eritrea and Syria.
