People on the territories of the following municipalities will receive a test alert message on Monday: Clervaux, Parc Hosingen, Putscheid, Troisvierges, Vianden, Weiswampach, and Wincrange.

The following message will be displayed: “LU-ALERT / ALERTE TEST / NO ACTION REQUIRED / AUCUNE ACTION REQUISE / KEINE HANDLUNG ERFORDERLICH / INFOS: GD.LU/LU-ALERT.”

The same warning message will also be displayed by the ‘GouvAlert’ application.

As was the case with previous tests, the alert messages will go out to all people that find themselves in one of the aforementioned municipalities at the time of the trial. That means that residents of the towns will not get the message if they are elsewhere in the country at the given time.

Aside from these targeted tests, warning sirens will also be rung in municipalities across Luxembourg on the first day of the month.
