The survey is a collaboration between the municipality and the nature administration which confirmed, among other things, that the Bambësch is a popular recreation area. A highlight this summer should be the playground there, which is currently being renovated and should reopen this May.
Given the forest is only accessible by car and parking spaces are limited, the new bus connection is to bring this recreation area even closer, explains Mobilitéit-chairman Patrick Goldschmidt.
Also in the works is a new bicycle bridge which is to bind over the Rollingergrund the new elevator with the new Villeroy and Boch site, as well as the publication of a small forest guide, which outlines appropriate conduct in nature.
