Weather & TrafficMonday 3 February - here comes the rain again

RTL Today
Luxembourg's weather continues to catch up on rain in an attempt to counter last year's drought.
We wanted to find a picture of wet socks for this article, but that proved more difficult than you'd imagine. At least without breaking copyright laws.. so we opted for this 'ard looking man in the rain instead.

Farmers, viticulturalists and the Environment Agency may rejoice, but ordinary residents will be a bit saddened to know today's forecast is rain. Comfort yourselves by remembering it's good for the ground, hopefully that might help? As the day grows, the skies will become increasingly cloudy. We'll start off with some mild rain showers, which will progressively get heavier as the day goes on.

Temperatures will remain between 7 and 9 °C in the morning and afternoon, before dropping to between 3 and 5 °C in the evening.

Traffic checks

Four checks have been announced for this Monday.

Two in the morning:

  • Rue Cents in Luxembourg City,
  • Rue d'Ehlerange in Soleuvre.

One in the afternoon:

  • Route de Trèves in Niederanven.

And one in the evening:

  • Avenue des Alliés in Ettelbruck.

Safe travels!
