Among other events and festivities, the high school has organised an exhibition to celebrate the anniversary and portray contemporary life at Lycée des Arts et Métiers. A number of famous people have started out in the Limpertsberg school, such as Alexandra Espigares, for instance, who won an Academy Award in 2014 for best animated short film.
Since the foundation of the high school, the building has undergone several changes in look, similar to the pupils who walk the halls and corridors on a daily basis. By now, the institution has also spread across three different sites. Furthermore, the number of training and education programmes has increased over the years.
The school is currently home to 1,800 pupils and 130 classes. Apart from secondary education programmes, Lycée des Arts et Métiers also offers nine different higher education programmes, which all last two years. Art, creativity, and technology remain the most important domains in the school.
25 years ago, the 100th anniversary was celebrated with a 20-metre-long cake. This year, an exhibition, entitled "Think ahead", was set up and officially inaugurated on 4 June. Artist Edmond Oliveira helped organise the exhibition with the help of both teachers and pupils.
