On Friday, police in Luxembourg City carried out a routine operation targeting drug- and immigration-related offences.
While conducting checks in the Gare neighbourhood, officers encountered an individual suspected of having ingested drugs. Upon orders from the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was taken to a hospital for a CT scan. The examination confirmed the presence of 25 foreign objects inside the person’s body.
Following the discovery, the individual was arrested and appeared before an examining magistrate on Saturday morning.
