The SNCF announced the rail disruption on Twitter at 5pm.
The CFL has confirmed that passengers should expect both delays and cancellations in both directions between Luxembourg and Bettembourg on lines 60 and 90.
The cause is a technical issue on a passenger train located at Howald.
