On Wednesday afternoon, around 5.40pm, a brawl involving several young people broke out in a supermarket inside a Cloche d’Or shopping centre.
Luxembourg police were called and arrived in force: around ten law enforcement vehicles were seen parked in front of the shopping centre.
When contacted, the police confirmed an altercation involving eight people and emphasised that there were no injuries. They justified the impressive deployment of their officers by the fact that they could not immediately assess the scale of the fight.
In the end, the situation was quickly brought under control.
