On Saturday afternoon, around 5.20pm, police were alerted to an incident on Rue de Luxembourg in Lamadelaine, in the commune of Pétange, where one individual suffered a shoulder injury after being struck by a knife. The injured person was transferred to a hospital and is in a stable condition.
Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the perpetrator.
