To protest these practices, climate activists adorned the ground floor of the Compensation Fund’s headquarters in Luxembourg City with posters, transforming it into a symbolic laundry room on a Wednesday morning. Greenpeace contends that the fund’s communication highlights purported green investments while maintaining substantial holdings in environmentally detrimental ventures — a tactic commonly referred to as greenwashing.

The activists are urging politicians, particularly the next government, to enact legislation mandating that the pension fund align its investments with international climate protection, environmental preservation, and social justice objectives.
