RTL Today
The exciting journey towards the Eurovision Song Contest has kicked off in Luxembourg with the start of the first pre-selection casting event held at Rockhal over the weekend.

Around 100 singers without original compositions eagerly took the stage to audition before a discerning jury. They were the first potential candidates vying for the chance to represent Luxembourg at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.

Following this initial pre-selection round, the most promising singers will advance to compete against established candidates from the music industry who already have their own repertoire of songs.

As the competition progresses, the finalists will compete for victory in a grand TV show scheduled to take place at Rockhal on 27 January. The ultimate winner of this captivating showdown will earn the honour of representing Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.

The registration process for singers who already have a song as well as song-writers remains open on eurovision.lu.
