The E2 is touted as, among other claims, “the quietest aircraft worldwide” and the most fuel-efficient among small narrowbody jets. According to the manufacturer, its design and optimised weight are key factors in achieving a scheduled reliability of 99.4% across the global E2 fleet.

Although the E2 recently introduced by Luxair initially experienced some “operational challenges” and currently has a reliability rate of just 98%, Embraer expects that “over the course of operations, it will reach the global fleet reliability level of 99.4%.”

The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer also once again emphasised that the aircraft offers “the quietest cabins on the market” and does not feature any middle seats.
