The Albanian man is under suspicion of having injured two men with a knife on the market square in Pétange in August 2020.

Edinjo Pulti has been one of Europe’s most wanted fugitives since November 2021. Luxembourgish authorities are looking for the Albanian for attempted murder, which dates back to 2020. One of his victims was severely injured in a knife attack at the time.

Newspaper Wort has now reported that Pulti was arrested in the northwest of Albania two weeks ago. However, since there is no extradition agreement between Albania and the Grand Duchy, local authorities released the fugitive again after a short period.
