Two road accidents separately involving an e-scooter rider and cyclist took place in Luxembourg City on Wednesday evening, with both victims taken to the emergency room.

The first incident occurred at around 7.10pm, when a motorist struck a cyclist on Rue de Hamm on Wednesday evening. Luxembourg City firefighters treated the cyclist at the scene before they were transported to hospital by ambulance.

Later that evening, at 9.55pm, the emergency medical service, an ambulance and Luxembourg City firefighters were dispatched to Rue Michel Rodange, where an e-scooter rider had been hit by a car. The rider was taken to the emergency room, though the Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps morning report did not disclose the severity of their injuries.
