At around 6.20pm on Monday evening, a police patrol near the central railway station decided to pull over a man on a scooter, who they thought was behaving suspiciously.
When the man noticed that the police wanted to check him, he fled in the direction of the platforms and ran across the tracks before hiding behind a building near a hedge. Nevertheless, the police managed to locate the suspect and perform a search. They seized several pellets of cocaine and some cash.
The man was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office and was presented to an examining magistrate on Tuesday.
