Since 24 August, the pavement has been widened on Rue du Canal at the level of the Hôtel de Ville up to Place Marie-Thérèse. Parking in this area is not possible during the works.
Vehicles parked in underground garages within the affected zone cannot enter or exit for the duration either. Owners will therefore have to park outside the construction site.
The municipality of Ettelbruck also points out that, while the works are under way, residents in the affected area will not be able to receive deliveries.

A second construction site has been in place on Avenue des Alliés since 29 August. The road is closed to cars from house numbers 27 to 43, though access to the petrol station is guaranteed, as is a pedestrian path through the affected stretch.
Since it is now more complicated to reach the centre of Ettelbruck from this direction, the National Roads Administration have put a diversion in place.
