According to preliminary investigations, two cars collided in a turn, during which one vehicle was severely hit on the driver’s side. The man ended up stuck in his car and had to be freed by emergency service members. After initial treatment at the scene, the man was rushed to hospital.
While the alcohol test of the injured driver came back negative, the other one was positive. The driving license was revoked.
The N2 was closed off for traffic until shortly before two o’clock in the morning. Emergency services from Luxembourg City, Canach, and Moutfort were at the scene to provide assistance.
