Girls aged 14 to 18 in Luxembourg are being invited to take part in a new free programme exploring artificial intelligence, voice technology and chatbots.

VoiceTech4Teens will offer participants four hands-on lab sessions at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in Belvaux, giving them the chance to experiment with digital technologies in a beginner-friendly environment.

The programme, supported by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), is designed to encourage more girls to explore fields related to AI and digital technology.

No previous coding or artificial intelligence experience is required. During the sessions, participants will learn how speech can be transformed into data, experiment with AI tools and chatbots, and develop a small technology prototype of their own.

The programme will conclude with a final demo session on 12 December, when participants will present their projects to a jury made up of representatives from research, industry, education and STEM outreach organisations, including Happy Kids, Google Cloud, the University of Luxembourg's Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), the University of Luxembourg and GeekGirls.

Selected projects will receive prizes during the final session.

The four lab days will take place on 14 November, 21 November, 5 December and 12 December 2026, from 14:00 to 18:00.
