The building is said to connect the new with the old. Parts of the historic building are to be preserved and integrated into the new project. According to the CFL, the project makes use of cutting-edge technology and is based on the idea of economic solidarity. The new headquarters will be able to accommodate up to 1,200 employees, the company explains.
Construction is scheduled to start in early 2023 and will last until the end of 2026.
