
Emergency services were alerted shortly after 10pm on Friday when a fire broke out at the parking area of a bus depot in Hosingen. Video footage sent to RTL showed several vehicles ablaze, with early reports indicating that six buses were directly affected by the fire.

Firefighters responded rapidly to the emergency. Around 50 personnel were deployed to extinguish the blaze, with teams arriving from Clervaux, Hosingen, Nordstad, Putscheid, Wiltz, and Wincrange. Additionally, an ambulance from Troisvierges was present on site as a precaution.
Just after 11pm, the blaze was under control. While, part of the depot hall was also affected by the flames, crews managed to evacuate around 10 buses from the building, preventing further damage.
No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage.
