The vehicle caught fire on between the Croix de Bettembourg interchange and the Livange exit ramp on the A3 motorway leading towards Luxembourg City.
Both the ride light and the service lane are blocked. Tailbacks of up to 4km formed after the accident. Drivers are reminded to form an emergency corridor.
