The audit has since been completed but it will not be made public, Hesperange mayor Marc Lies told Radio 100,7. According to the mayor, the audit contains confidential information about the management of municipal finances and should therefore not be publicised.
The audit will be presented behind closed doors at a municipal council meeting on Friday.
