
Currently, 45 employees work across the five ING agencies. Some of these employees will transition to work in the bank’s ‘contact centre’ in the future. This information was revealed in response to a parliamentary question from the CSV. The timeline for implementing these changes remains unknown.
The Minister of Finance stated that there is no information on potential layoffs at this time. The Ministry of Labor has not yet received any requests for a social plan, and there are no details on which specific agencies will be affected.
In late May, ING announced that its services for private customers would be completely discontinued. In light of this, unions have been demanding more clarity about the future of the staff since the end of May.
