The police received reports of a series of car and home break-ins on Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning.
On Wednesday evening, burglars broke into a house on the Kräizgaass in Hosingen and stole jewellery. Another break-in occurred early Thursday morning on Rue Edmond Dune in Rollingergrund, where perpetrators smashed a window to enter the home.
In addition to houses, criminals also targeted vehicles. During Wednesday night, a vehicle on Rue Jean-Pierre Huberty in Muhlenbach was broken into, and two backpacks were stolen.
Around 4.30am Thursday morning, perpetrators broke into a car parked on Rue de la Paix in the North Bonnevoie-Verlorenkost district by smashing a window. A backpack was taken from the vehicle.
Investigations have been launched for each break-in. The police urge the public to remain cautious and have provided a list of preventative tips for protecting yourself against burglaries.
