On Wednesday evening, the Democratic Party (DP), the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP) and the Greens agreed on a three-party coalition in Contern.

During the municipal council meeting, the coalition was approved by a narrow majority, with six votes in favour and five against.

As a result, Dali Zhu (DP) has been confirmed as Contern’s next mayor. Pol Thomé (LSAP) will serve as deputy mayor, while Ari Arrensdorff (Greens) will become the second alderman.
