Energy provider Creos is warning residents of Beaufort about individuals posing as its agents attempting to sell fraudulent photovoltaic installations.
According to reports, the impersonators are going door-to-door and falsely claiming to represent Creos. In response, the energy provider has issued an official statement urging the public to exercise caution.
The company advises residents to refrain from signing any documents presented by these individuals if there is the slightest doubt about their authenticity.
Anyone who is uncertain about a visitor’s credentials is encouraged to verify them directly by contacting the official Creos customer service.
