After petrol 95 (now at 1.758 euros per litre) and 98 (1.858 euros per litre) already increased overnight, diesel and heating oil will also become more expensive from Wednesday. Diesel will rise by 5.2 cents, bringing the price to 2.057 euros per litre. Heating oil will increase by 5.3 cents, with the price now at 1.517 euros per litre.
With this increase, prices are once again approaching the record levels for diesel and heating oil. On 10 March 2022, a litre of diesel cost 2.112 euros, while heating oil was sold at 1.553 euros per litre, according to the Petrol.lu website.
