A driver in Rollingen had their licence withdrawn on Tuesday evening after a traffic accident revealed they were operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
A traffic accident on Rue de Luxembourg in Rollingen led to the immediate withdrawal of one driver's licence on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred when one vehicle allegedly crossed the centre line and collided with an oncoming car. Police were alerted and promptly attended the scene.
Upon arrival, officers determined that one of the drivers showed clear signs of intoxication. A subsequent breathalyser test returned a positive result, which prompted the immediate confiscation of the individual's driving licence.
One person sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to a hospital for a medical evaluation. Authorities have completed an initial accident report, though the precise circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation.
