The first incident took place on Tuesday afternoon at a single-family home on Rue Neuve in Mondercange. Preliminary reports indicate that the perpetrators gained entry through a window before proceeding to ransack every room in the house. The police have not confirmed if any items were stolen.
A second attempted burglary was reported on Rue Dicks in Bettembourg. In this case, an individual entered a residence through the garage but was startled by a resident inside and fled the scene. Police launched an immediate search for the suspect, but the efforts were unsuccessful.
