Train services on Line 60 were suspended in both directions Friday morning due to a technical issue.

A technical issue at a signalling centre near Bettembourg caused major disruptions on Line 60 on Friday morning, according to the Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL).

The problem led to the suspension of all train services in both directions between Bettembourg and Volmerange-les-Mines.

To mitigate the disruption, the CFL has established a rail replacement bus service. These buses are running in both directions and will stop at all stations between Bettembourg and Volmerange-les-Mines.

CFL maintenance teams are currently on-site working to resolve the fault. The company has announced that a gradual resumption of train services on the affected route is expected to begin from 10am.
