Over the weekend, several single-family homes in Beringen, Goetzingen, and Boevange-sur-Attert were broken into, with intruders stealing jewelry and ransacking rooms, while an attempted burglary was reported in Habscht.

On Saturday, a single-family home on Rue d’Ettelbrück in Beringen was broken into. Unknown perpetrators gained access to the house and ransacked the rooms.

During the night, similar incidents were reported in single-family homes on Rue de Luxembourg in Goetzingen and on Am Letschert in Boevange-sur-Attert, where the intruders searched the rooms and stole jewelry.

An attempted burglary occurred around 9.15pm on An der Steekaul in Habscht. The resident was alerted by noises at the terrace door and, upon investigating, saw a silhouette that immediately fled the scene.

Police investigations have been launched in all cases.
