Hesperange park will transform into a hub of activity on Saturday as part of the European Week of Sport's 10th anniversary, inviting people of all ages to try their hand at a wide variety of activities and enjoy food trucks.
As part of the European Week of Sport from 23 to 30 September 2025, people are invited to join a sporting event on Saturday, 27 September 2025, from 12–6pm at Hesperange's communal park. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the campaign that has been getting Europe moving.
Part of the #BeActive initiative by the European Commission, it encourages citizens to engage in physical activity regardless of age, social status, or sporting ability. Since 2015, Luxembourg has been actively participating, with the Ministry of Sports coordinating a programme of activities throughout September in collaboration with national and local authorities and sports partners.
