A serious motorcycle accident occurred on Friday evening in the north of Luxembourg. A rescue helicopter was called to the scene.
The CGDIS reported seven accidents and four fires between 5 pm on Friday and 3 am on Saturday. Two of the incidents required intervention from the emergency services.
The first accident happened near Weiswampach, where a motorcyclist came off his bike on the CR363, close to the Belgian border. An ambulance, firefighters, and the rescue helicopter were dispatched. The rider was seriously injured, though it is not yet clear whether his life is in danger.
A second serious accident followed near Urspelt, also in the north of the country, when a car struck an e-scooter on the CR339 towards Clervaux. The Ettelbruck Samu, along with firefighters and an ambulance, attended the scene.
