Two people were injured in traffic accidents on Friday, while fire fighters in Pétange were called out to an apartment fire.

Shortly before midday, a car collided with a motorbike in Cessange's industrial zone. The motorcyclist suffered injuries as a result and required hospital treatment.

Just after 4pm, an accident occurred on Avenue du Rock n' Roll in Belval involving one vehicle, leaving one person with injuries.

In Pétange, a flat on Rue de la Piscine caught fire at 4.30pm. Fire fighters from Esch-sur-Alzette, Pétange, Käerjeng, and Sanem-Differdange were dispatched to the scene.
