A string of alcohol-related disturbances were reported Saturday night, with several people detained for aggressive or uncooperative behavior.
On Saturday night, Luxembourg police dealt with several incidents involving intoxicated individuals.
Around 11.20pm, officers were called to the Gare district after a man reportedly attempting a theft. Due to his aggressive behavior, the intoxicated man was taken into custody.
About 20 minutes later, police responded to a dispute at a party in Pétange, during which someone was reportedly injured. One man involved became aggressive and verbally abusive toward the officers and spent the night in custody.
At around 3.30am, police were called to another dispute in Clausen, where an intoxicated person was taken into temporary custody.
Additional incidents occurred in Esch, Redange, and Niederkorn, where several heavily intoxicated individuals displayed uncooperative or aggressive behavior and were detained until sober.
