A police pursuit through Luxembourg City on Sunday morning ended in a crash at Place de l’Étoile after a driver fled a traffic check.

Around 10.30am on Sunday morning, police attempted to perform a check on a car near Robert Schaffner roundabout (Lergärtchen). Instead of stopping, the driver fled in the direction of the city.

Several police vehicles pursued the car until it finally came to a halt at Place de l'Étoile, after being involved in an accident.
