The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to two fires and two traffic accidents between Saturday evening and early Sunday morning, leaving two people injured.

On Saturday evening, shortly after 6pm, a car crashed into a tree on the CR309 between Doncols and Schleif. One person was injured and had to be treated by rescue teams from Wiltz and Winseler.

At around 1am on Sunday, a car caught fire inside a garage on Rue des Jardins in Esch. The CGDIS reported one person injured due to smoke inhalation. Ambulance crews from Esch and Schifflange, along with firefighters from Kayl, Esch, and Schifflange, were deployed.

Around 40 minutes later, firefighters from Rambrouch and Redange-sur-Attert were called to the CR303 between Rambrouch and Roodt, where hay bales had caught fire. Nobody was harmed.

Meanwhile, in Bonnevoie at Place des Rotondes, a collision between two cars occurred at around 4.24am. The incident resulted only in material damage. Emergency services from Luxembourg City were on site.
