The police have reported two separate altercations on Avenue de la Faïencerie in Limpertsberg resulting in arrest and temporary custody.
Police were alerted early on Saturday morning to a dispute taking place on Avenue de la Faïencerie. Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered several men engaged in an argument.
One of the individuals repeatedly refused to identify himself despite being instructed to do so and attempted to push an officer aside in an effort to flee. Due to the man being heavily intoxicated, and posing a risk to himself and others, he was taken into temporary custody.
Also on Saturday morning, around 6am, a patrol noticed two men on the same street as the earlier incident, fighting on the ground. When the officers approached, both individuals tried to escape but were stopped.
Again, one of the men refused to identify himself, pushed an officer several times, and behaved aggressively towards the police. He too was found to be heavily intoxicated, had to be restrained, and was placed under arrest.
