
Positive figures from the Pentecost weekend have given Luxembourg City's tourism sector a boost, with nearly 2,000 visitors at the tourist office and record interest in the capital’s landmarks and guided tours.
The Luxembourg City Tourist Office reported positive results from the recent Pentecost holiday weekend (6-9 June), recording approximately 2,000 visitor contacts at their information centre.
International visitors dominated the statistics, with German tourists accounting for about one-third of all visits, followed by Dutch, French, and Luxembourgish nationals.
Domestic tourism showed steady interest, with 162 Luxembourg residents visiting the capital's tourist office.
The historic Casemates maintained their position as the city's most popular attraction, drawing around 5,000 visitors during the four-day period.
The tourist office organised 50 guided tours that attracted 660 participants, while their official website, luxembourg-city.com, received more than 54,000 visits.
