The Luxembourgish Association of the Blind will see a change within its board of directors, as Paul Ensch resigns after 17 years of committed service.

The former mayor of Fischbach, Marianne Brosius-Kolber, is set to take over from Paul Ensch as president of the board of directors at the Luxembourgish Association of the Blind.

The Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung Foundation (FLB) announced the retirement of Mr. Paul Ensch as president of the board of directors on May 22, 2025. Active within the foundation since December 2007, he was a director first and then became president of the board in October 2012.

The FLB communicated that Mr Ensch has "left his mark on the Foundation through his commitment, his human leadership and his strategic vision."

Marianne Brosius-Kolber will take over his position on May 23, 2025. An active member of the board from 2017 onwards, she has a thorough understanding of the FLB's missions and challenges.

As former mayor of the municipality of Fischbach from 2006 to 2017, she has also held various positions in the social sector. Ms Brosius-Kolber's appointment is part of a drive for continuity, but also for renewed motivation to support the FLB's missions in an ever-evolving context.
