
Luxembourg police reported three drink-driving incidents, including a driver found asleep at the wheel in Ettelbruck and a crash near Bigonville.
The Luxembourg police have reported three separate incidents involving drink-driving on Friday night.
In Ettelbruck, officers found a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel with the engine still running. After considerable effort, the police were able to wake the driver, who was found to be intoxicated – the police issued a ticket.
In another case, a driver heading towards Bigonville crashed their vehicle into a ditch. The motorist was also found to be under the influence of alcohol.
In the early hours of Saturday morning in Bertrange, a motorist was fined after being reported for reckless driving.
