A serious accident on the N13 near Garnich has caused significant traffic disruptions on Tuesday afternoon, while a house was ablaze in Junglister.

Drivers in the Garnich area are advised to exercise caution following a serious accident on the N13.

The incident occurred at around 3pm on the N13 heading towards Steinfort, at the entrance to the A6 towards Luxembourg City.

Initial reports indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision. An ambulance was promptly despatched to the scene.

The accident has caused significant traffic disruptions. As a result, the Steinfort exit on the A6 towards Luxembourg City was temporarily closed to allow for emergency response and cleanup.

At around 11.18pm, the fire brigade was called to action in Junglinster, rue de la Montagne, for an incident in a residential area. Rescue workers took care of five people suspected of being intoxicated.

The CGDIS also intervened in a collision between two cars at 1:51 PM on the Berchem area, which resulted in one injury.
