Police operations in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and Esch-sur-Alzette led to two arrests on Tuesday.

Luxembourg police were involved in two incidents on Tuesday, resulting in arrests in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and Esch-sur-Alzette.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a police patrol in Erpeldange-sur-Sûre intervened after an individual was reported smashing a car window on the "Beim Dreieck" street. The suspect was apprehended while allegedly inspecting other vehicles.

During the check, police recovered stolen items and linked the individual to further thefts and break-ins. Following the arrest, the suspect was brought before an examining magistrate by order of the public prosecutor's office.

In an unrelated case on Tuesday evening, police in Esch-sur-Alzette arrested a man after he allegedly made threats against his ex-partner. The individual was located at his residence and taken into custody. He was presented before an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning.
