In a move to bolster its fleet and support future growth, Luxair has signed a firm order for two additional Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, completing its previous 2023 order.

Luxembourg's national airline, Luxair, has confirmed the firm order of two additional E195-E2 aircraft from Embraer.

These two aircraft will complete Luxair's fleet, following the exercise of options secured in 2023 when the airline placed an order for four aircraft of the same model. With the new additions, Luxair now has a total of six E195-E2 aircraft on order.

The first of the aircraft from the 2023 order is expected to be delivered in early 2026, with the final units slated for delivery by 2027.

Gilles Feith, CEO of Luxair, emphasised the importance of the investment, stating, "The E195-E2 is an essential investment in Luxair's future, allowing us to balance growth with our commitment to a greener and quieter future."
