Luxembourg City is offering entrepreneurs and start-ups the chance to rent a prime pop-up store on Avenue de la Liberté, providing an ideal platform to test innovative business ideas in a thriving retail setting.

The municipality of Luxembourg City has launched a call for applications for the rental of a pop-up store on the coveted Avenue de la Liberté. Entrepreneurs, start-ups, and retailers interested in testing products, services, or innovative concepts in a physical retail space can apply until 2 January 2025.

Applications must include a completed form and a detailed description of the proposed project to be considered, the municipality underlines in its application call. Requests will further be evaluated on the "quality and originality of their ideas", as well as the applicant's availability.

The property offers a total surface area of approximately 280sq m, with additional basement space, making it ideal for a range of activities. Businesses are allowed to sell items such as clothing, accessories, jewellery, household goods, health and beauty products, pre-packaged dry foods, artwork, photography, or provide services and leisure activities.

The space is available for rental periods ranging from one to six months, with the possibility of a three-month extension depending on availability. Monthly rental prices range from €650 to €2,250, based on the business profile, with an additional flat fee for service charges.

This project aims to provide a springboard for creative ventures while diversifying the city's retail offerings and revitalising its commercial spaces.
