Local authorities in Luxembourg City have issued a reminder to residents and visitors of the capital to be vigilant of fake QR code stickers that have recently been found on some parking ticket machines.
The municipality of Luxembourg City has reiterated its warning against fraudulent QR code stickers that were discovered on some parking ticket machines in the capital in late November.
These fake "Easy Park" stickers contain a QR code that, when scanned, redirects users to a fraudulent website asking for personal information.

The municipality warns that this is not an official payment site. The only legitimate service for paying parking tickets in Luxembourg City is through the "Indigo Neo" app, which requires users to download the app and create an account.
Official "Indigo Neo" stickers are affixed to parking machines, as the company is the sole provider of parking services in the capital. While the "Easy Park" name belongs to a legitimate company, it does not operate in Luxembourg.

The municipality's services are actively removing the fraudulent stickers from parking machines and have filed a police report regarding the incident.
