This weekend, the Red Cross Bazar is back for its 78th edition.
Sixteen different stands were set up under a huge tent at Glacis for the 78th Croix Rouge Bazar this weekend. Kicking off on Saturday, the Bazar will be open on Sunday from 10am to 6pm too.
During the opening of the Bazar on Saturday morning, the Grand Duchess Maria Teresa came to visit and today on the 1st of Advent, the Kleeschen (or St Nicholas for English speakers) will be greeting attendees once at 11am and once again at 3 pm.
During last year's edition, the Bazar raised a whopping €300.000 all-together, an invaluable sum for all the services the Red Cross provides. This year, the Red Cross will be supporting services dedicated to the youth. More than 300 volunteers help run the Croix-Rouge-Bazar each year.
