An armed robbery at a jeweller's shop in Esch-sur-Alzette on Tuesday morning has prompted an ongoing police investigation.
Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a jeweller's shop on Rue Dicks in Esch-sur-Alzette at approximately 11am on Tuesday morning.
The suspect, armed with pepper spray, stole several pieces of jewellery before fleeing on foot towards Place de la Résistance.
According to authorities, the suspect is described as a man aged between 25 and 35, standing approximately 1.8 to 1.85 metres tall and speaking Portuguese. He was wearing a black hat, a black jacket, light grey Puma tracksuit bottoms, and black-and-white shoes. The suspect was also carrying a tote bag featuring the cartoon character Mickey Mouse.
