The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps emergency services were called to two accidents on Monday, on the A3 and in Esch.

The emergency services report that a collision of three cars occurred shortly after 3pm on the A3 near Zoufftgen in France. Two people were injured and tended to by the paramedics of Bettembourg and Dudelange.
The accident caused a traffic jam reaching from the border area to the Croix de Bettembourg. Even after 5pm, as the accident has been cleaned up, the traffic is only advancing slowly.

Furthermore, in Esch one person was injured in Rue du Fosse in another accident involving two vehicles. Firefighters from Esch and paramedics from Bettembourg intervened.
