Luxembourg has added Bilal Haidach to the European Union's list of most wanted criminals following his involvement in a 2023 burglary.
According to the website eumostwanted.eu, the 24-year-old Moroccan national is wanted for his involvement in a burglary which took place on 19 September 2023.
When Haidach broke into the property, the resident woke up while he was in the same room. Haidach responded to the interruption by jumping on the bed and pressing his hands over his victim's face.
The victim, an asthma sufferer, became short of breath and suffered an attack, which led Haidach to flee the scene.
He goes by a number of false identities and is also suspected of carrying out burglaries in neighbouring countries. It is thought he is still residing in Europe under a false name.
